The Postman Custom Woodturning has been in business since May 1988. We produce wooden veranda posts, porch posts, porch columns and newel posts that are our standard designs, exact reproductions of century or historical homes, or a custom design.

All of our posts are turned by hand, using laminated pine, finished with shellacked knots, sealed end grain and primed with oil based primer. We can turn products on our lathe up to 10 feet in length and up to 16 inches in diameter.

We also produce king post, finials, column bases, table legs, kitchen island legs, spindles, etc., from our material or yours. Our customers range from subdivision home builders, contractors, and home owners.
